My name is Anya Lucas and I am a Graphic Designer and Visual Artist based in New York. I work primarily in printed media, however, I consider my artistic practice to be multidisciplinary. As a designer who has a strong background in fine arts media, I have found that this has shaped my process and interests when it comes to my design work. I find it important to honor my skills and identity as a fine artist; one such way is through my incorporation of hand rendered elements in many of my designed works. The ability for my identities as an artist and designer to coexist is the core of my artistic process.
