This project was a magazine spread design of a fictional article. For this, I took images I collected from open use digital archives and Instagram, as well as text from unrelated existing articles. For this project, I designed two articles with two spread layouts each and a cover design for the magazine. The aim was for the articles to have distinct styles but retain some cohesive elements and themes being that they pertain to the same fictional publication. For these designs, I wanted them to be bold and feminine, seeing as the nature of the fictional publication I designed was an art and fashion magazine targeted to predominantly young female audiences. The color palettes are playful but fresh with some experimental type design as well.
